Day 3: Power of The Body
The body is your vehicle for your life. It's giving you feedback about your thoughts, even your purpose. Learn to listen to the messages your body is sharing.
Day 4: Power of Nature
Nature has a lot to teach us. There are messages it has to share that are perfect for you. Connect with its power, and uncover your true purpose.
Day 5: Power of The Universe
You have a universe inside of you. You'll awaken a deeper purpose and reawaken the power that is within you. You'll leave with a plan for the future.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
You will need to be more than a couch potato but not athletic fit. Somewhere in between will be fine. You'll walk at your own pace. The itinerary factored in an average walking pace of 4 to 4.5km per hour. This is an average walking pace where you can enjoy the walk but not push yourself. It would be advised to do some longer walks leading up to the event.
Yes, we have created a Power Walkshop training guide just for you. There are 4 total running days scheduled on the Power Walkshop training plans that are included inside the program from 20 weeks, 16 weeks, 12 weeks and 6 weeks training plans.
2 of the days are shorter walking days and the 3rd day is a scheduled long walk day. You also have the option to add in a recovery walk as you would like if you want to walk more!
Since this training plan is specifically designed for first time walkers, the focus is almost completely on the long walk (23km) and does not include other quality walking workouts such as tempo, runs or hills.
The focus of all 4 of the Power Walkshop training plans included in this program are on building endurance! Building endurance and consistency are the keys to walking the Power Walkshop.
The walk itself has a few hills, stairs, but you require endurance above anything else. Also, the focus is “keeping it simple” because fancy and complex training plans may lead to injury or burn out.
Absolutely not! You can do the walkshop training which is building you up to walk 23km with ease. You’ll walk 41 km's per week at the height of your training and the week before the event, and you can start by walking about 15 - 20 km per week.
No, you’ll do reduction weeks (where you will take a short break from increasing your long walk) which are built into each of the 4 training plans. This allows for rest and recovery while giving your body time to adapt to the changes in the lead up to the Power Walkshop.
Sydney weather in June has cooler temperatures averaging 14 to 18 degrees celsius (57 degrees to 64 degrees Fahrenheit). Sunrise at 7am and sunset at 5pm. There is, on average, 13 days of rain and a 33% chance of a cloud-free, sunny day.
We will walk, rain, hail or shine. The Walkshop is here to teach you about yourself, and if our journey is to have rain, we will dance. If sunshine is what your soul needs, that’s what the Walkshop will provide.

Your luggage will be transported between hotels. Please make sure you bring a day pack for you to carry your essentials between destinations.
Hotel, boutique style hotel, a luxury AirBnB accommodation and, one night, we have basic accommodation due to the location of our rest stop.
An additional $600 for a private room
NOTE ABOUT LUGGAGE
If you can, consider going light and basic, there is something refreshing about not having baggage to travel with, metaphorically speaking. When you lay out all your items, take ⅓ of what you have. You really need much less than you think you need. Have a couple of evening wear, something comfortable, we will be going out on day 1 and 3 for dinner, the other nights, we are eating in. No one will care if you wear the same thing every night.
There will be an opportunity for you to wash your clothes at the AirBnB on Day 3.
You will need your phone during the walk. You'll be a part of a Whatsapp group to get Walkshop updates. Laptop is optional. Besides, I’m sure most of you would like to touch base with family (and friends) from time to time (and tell them what an amazing time you are having).
We will drive you back from Avalon to Hyde Park in Sydney CBD at about 1:30pm on day 5.
